About the position

The Sr. Manager of Operations for Community Engagement and Health Equity at Emory Healthcare is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of the departments focused on community engagement and health equity. This role includes managing processes, optimizing campaign performance, training staff, and managing budgets while contributing to community health improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and optimize processes and workflows to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Engage staff in design and implementation of processes and procedures, soliciting feedback and making recommendations for design changes.
  • Train staff on departmental procedures.
  • Manage the annual operating and capital budget processes and support financial systems.
  • Oversee grant administration and reporting.
  • Monitor and analyze the impact of campaigns, events, and initiatives.
  • Implement optimization efforts using tools like Salesforce and Blackthorn.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for optimizing campaigns/events based on data and performance metrics.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support health equity and community engagement priorities.
  • Establish methods to encourage collaboration between System and Operating Unit functions.
  • Implement community engagement and health equity section of marketing project management system for event planning and marketing integration.
  • Establish templates for event planning and execution.
  • Monitor and assign incoming requests for support and training.
  • Provide training and support to team members on tools, processes, and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Seven years of experience in operations, project management, or a related role.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience in a health care organization.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM and social media platforms.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
