About the position

The Sr. Manager, Digital Marketing Operations is responsible for leading a team of marketing operations specialists to ensure effective marketing execution. This role involves overseeing marketing automation processes, managing marketing data, and developing customer lifecycle management solutions. The manager will also focus on training and onboarding new team members while fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic and tactical roadmaps for digital marketing operations in alignment with marketing goals and business strategy.
  • Build a foundation of operational excellence, including team design and establishing fit-for-purpose processes.
  • Own marketing technologies, including onboarding and integrating new technologies and conducting yearly reviews of the marketing tech stack.
  • Develop modern data practices to ensure high-quality data capture for operations and analytics.
  • Build and evolve customer lifecycle management solutions and document standard operating procedures.
  • Familiarize with Marketo and lead nurturing best practices for demand generation.
  • Innovate capabilities and processes to enhance customer experiences.
  • Design processes with the right balance of standardization and customization for scalable support.
  • Facilitate marketing efforts to identify and segment key audiences, tailoring approaches to fit audience needs.
  • Hire and develop digital marketing operations talent.
  • Advocate for marketing operations best practices across global and regional marketing.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of marketing or operations experience; 3+ years in growth-stage B2B.
  • Deep hands-on expertise with marketing tools such as Marketo and Salesforce.
  • Strong understanding of the B2B customer lifecycle process from lead capture to revenue realization.
  • Start-up mindset with extreme ownership and speed; accountable for self and team.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills adaptable to various audiences.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop team members.
