About the position

The Sr. Manager of Digital Marketing & Strategy at Roc Nation is a pivotal role responsible for driving digital marketing initiatives for a diverse roster of artists. Reporting to the VP of Digital Marketing & Strategy, this position involves executing promotional campaigns, developing creative marketing plans, and managing social media and web platforms for artists. The role requires a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution to enhance artist visibility and engagement in the digital space.

Responsibilities

  • Lead overall strategy and execution of Roc Nation and clients' social marketing, including editorial calendar creation and community management.
  • Establish relationships with brand and personality influencers to increase artist awareness and generate social growth.
  • Develop and execute digital marketing and content distribution strategies for Roc Nation and its clients.
  • Support and manage relationships with key digital accounts and liaise with label distribution partners.
  • Manage new artist site builds and updates for artist sites and social media profiles.
  • Compile and distribute regular reports on campaign efficacy and performance analysis.
  • Collaborate with Roc Nation's marketing team on content release campaigns and other initiatives.
  • Perform general administrative duties to support the team.

Requirements

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • In-depth understanding of social media platforms and digital music services.
  • 3-5 years of experience managing social platforms or relationships with them.
  • Ability to conduct outreach and manage a social influencer database.
  • Extensive knowledge of the music market and digital space.
  • Excellent copywriting skills under pressure for multiple campaigns.
  • High attention to detail and strong business relationship skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team player.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience with Google Analytics, email service providers, and CRM systems.
  • Familiarity with social management and listening platforms.
  • Experience with content management systems, especially Wordpress.
  • Basic knowledge of audio, photo, and video editing programs.
