About the position

The Sr Manager, Digital Marketing at The Walt Disney Studios is responsible for developing and maintaining the global digital strategy for YouTube and overseeing macro-level channel programming. This role involves collaboration with various teams to create and implement digital marketing campaigns that align with Disney's brand and franchise priorities. The position also includes team leadership, project management, and strategic partnerships to enhance Disney's digital presence across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Develop overarching digital campaigns and macro-level strategies by brand.
  • Lead digital campaigns for Disney, Disney+, and other franchises.
  • Collaborate on calendar planning to ensure alignment across the organization.
  • Act as a strategic partner for Creative & Publishing teams.
  • Represent the Global YouTube initiative in senior executive meetings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for campaign development.
  • Provide weekly project status updates to the VP and Corporate Brand.
  • Manage team planning documents and programming calendars.
  • Foster a work culture that values inclusivity and collaboration.
  • Lead and guide a diverse team of approximately 2 professionals.

Requirements

  • 7+ years' relevant experience with digital marketing for brand and entertainment properties.
  • BA or BS in Journalism, Film, Marketing, or relevant field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years experience managing teams and professional development.
  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and make business decisions quickly.
  • Experience working across multiple mediums including social media and digital placements.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for successful stakeholder interactions.
  • Knowledge of data synthesis into actionable strategies.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral.
