As a Senior Manager in Digital Product Management at American Express, you will play a pivotal role in driving the end-to-end delivery of Multi-Rail Payments initiatives across various platforms, domains, and lines of business. This position is integral to the Network Capability Delivery team within the Global Merchant & Network Services group (GMNS), which is at the heart of American Express's operations. The team is responsible for delivering innovative technical solutions that meet the evolving demands of global payment networks while ensuring interoperability across different markets. You will collaborate closely with multiple partners across Product, Delivery, and Technology to transform payments at American Express, focusing on leading delivery across teams that are essential to the success of the Multi-Rail Payments Network. In this role, you will be tasked with driving cross-platform product delivery for medium-to-high complexity initiatives, ensuring that value is delivered and that initiatives are sequenced properly to meet or exceed expectations. You will document and maintain delivery plans in partnership with product teams, technology, and key stakeholders. Your responsibilities will also include collaborating with Release Train Engineers (RTEs) and Technical Program Managers to identify and coordinate cross-platform dependencies and delivery plans. You will manage impediments, risks, dependencies, and resourcing needs across stakeholders and senior leadership as appropriate, ensuring that all aspects of the program are aligned and on track. The ideal candidate will possess a high degree of technical savvy and a proven ability to influence and gain alignment at all levels of the organization, including senior leadership. You will need superb communication, facilitation, and collaboration skills to work effectively across different band levels, locations, and time zones. Additionally, you will be expected to translate strategy into clear and specific objectives and plans, contributing to prioritization discussions and pressure testing plans for feasibility, capacity, and risk. Your experience in managing the full product management lifecycle, particularly in the payments domain, will be a significant asset in this role.
