About the position

The Sr. Manager, Digital Product Management at Schwab is responsible for leading large cross-product team initiatives, particularly in the area of retirement plan solutions. This role involves opportunity discovery, analysis, and effective execution of business priorities across technology scrum teams. The manager will develop strategic visions, manage stakeholder relationships, and ensure smooth execution of digital product offerings while navigating regulatory requirements and internal governance structures.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a strategic vision, objectives, and key business indicators (KBIs) for digital products.
  • Evaluate the viability and value of digital product solutions.
  • Identify and anticipate client needs based on research.
  • Lead the development of a 12-month product roadmap and release plan in collaboration with scrum and partner teams.
  • Synchronize work and make prioritization/trade-off decisions.
  • Create a stakeholder engagement strategy for internal and external networks.
  • Capture stakeholder concerns and dependencies and implement refinements to the overall roadmap.
  • Manage risk strategies and quality, identifying client and firm impacts.
  • Develop controls and testing for product management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ years of product management experience providing end-to-end business direction and digital product leadership.
  • Prior experience using Jira and Confluence, with an understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Experience collaborating with technology teams, product, marketing, and business partners to implement digital experiences.
  • Experience crafting and implementing processes, procedures, and controls for managing retirement plan products.
  • Experience executing project delivery with technology teams.
