Our team is seeking a passionate, upbeat candidate to join our team in the role of a Digital Product Manager for Site Search. Reporting to the Senior Director of Digital Platforms - fishersci.com Value Stream, this team member is responsible for implementing digital search experiences which support customer online journeys on Thermo Fisher Scientific digital web properties. This role will work with other product managers as well as across several businesses and global teams to deploy customer-relevant search and selection experiences. As a customer advocate, this role is responsible for ensuring a world-class search customer experience across the find, decide & support journeys. The candidate is expected to have a good understanding of the challenges and opportunities of site search product development and be able to translate these needs into requirements for action by our development teams, further ensuring alignment with search operations teams. Success in this role depends upon being able to clearly articulate expected business outcomes, problem solve, weigh tradeoffs, and drive roadmap progress. In this position, you will define product vision and strategy that aligns with overall business goals, meet customer needs, and implement for outcomes to meet key performance indicators. You will work across multiple digital product management and technical colleagues to ensure strategies are in sync with the customer-centric digital experiences. Engaging with key business partners to develop business justification, acquiring alignment and approval to move efforts forward or to align on tradeoffs and prioritization decisions as they arise will be crucial. You will clearly articulate business requirements, participating with solution architects and technical teams in order to build optimal solutions. Additionally, you will monitor market, competitive, and technology trends and capabilities to shape strategy and roadmaps, helping to lead technology and data process roadmaps in partnership with engineering leaders. Ultimately, you will put customers first, as a customer advocate, improving the digital ecosystem to create greater customer value.
