At Schwab, the Sr Manager, Digital Product Management role is a pivotal position within the Wealth & Advice Solutions (WAS) organization, which is dedicated to providing industry-leading wealth management services to both retail and registered investment advisor (RIA) clients. This individual contributor role is part of the Risk Oversight & Remediation team within the WAS Risk & Governance organization. The primary focus of this position is to manage open risks and issues by analyzing complex problems and collaborating with various stakeholders, including business units, legal, compliance, and other partners. The goal is to deliver solutions that effectively prevent, mitigate, and remediate risks while ensuring that client experience remains a top priority. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate a strong ability to think creatively and develop data-driven recommendations. They will need to deliver results in a matrixed organization and possess the flexibility to handle various situations. This role is designed for individuals who have a bias for action and can overcome obstacles to successfully execute multiple projects simultaneously. The position requires a strategic mindset that goes beyond day-to-day operations, analyzing various factors and metrics to make informed decisions. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing risk probability and impact, developing processes for risk mitigation and detection, and implementing new processes or improvements. The ability to manage business risk effectively while keeping clients at the forefront of decisions is crucial. The role also demands outstanding written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal and relationship management skills, to negotiate, collaborate, and influence across all levels of the organization, including interactions with regulators and auditors. A high attention to detail and experience with rigorous quality control approaches are essential, along with mastery of Microsoft Office tools. A BA/BS degree is required, and candidates with 5-7 years of experience in the Financial Services industry, particularly in advised products, risk management, or operations, will be well-suited for this position.
