The Integrated Marketing team (IMC) is based in Meridian, Idaho, and has a strong presence in North America, Europe, and Asia, providing support to large channel partners and offering mentorship through the crucial.com website. We are seeking a leader to own the Digital Strategy & Experience function within the IMC team. This role will drive digital strategy, prioritize the technology roadmap, and optimize the online visitor and customer experience. In this position, you will partner with Brand Marketing to ensure brand alignment, collaborate with Digital Marketing to optimize campaign and SEO traffic, and work with Operations to drive revenue growth initiatives. You will also coordinate with our Marketing Technology team in India to deliver high-quality development projects on schedule. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and people development abilities, effective interpersonal skills, and experience collaborating across functions in a global corporate environment. Your technical expertise will be crucial in improving site health and enhancing the overall digital experience. As the leader of the Digital Strategy & Experience function, you will be responsible for driving the vision and strategy for marketing technology and e-commerce in the commercial channel. You will ensure that all sites are optimized for Core Web Vitals and incorporate customer feedback as appropriate. This role requires coordination with various stakeholders, including designers, project managers, business analysts, marketers, and architects, to establish a cohesive overall user experience. You will lead all aspects of the marketing technology roadmap, ensuring that the cross-functional requirements gathering process is detailed and accommodating of all key collaborators. Your leadership will be essential in providing direction, management, and development opportunities to a team of professionals in web strategy, web management, web operations, digital experience, UX design, systems integration, and product compatibility.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the vision and strategy for marketing technology and e-commerce in the commercial channel.
  • Ensure all sites are optimized for Core Web Vitals and incorporate customer feedback as appropriate.
  • Coordinate with designers, project managers, business analysts, marketers, and architects to establish a cohesive overall user experience.
  • Lead all aspects of the marketing technology roadmap, ensuring the cross-functional requirements gathering process is detailed and accommodating of all key collaborators.
  • Improve customer experience on e-commerce platform by following the latest trends and removing barriers to boost revenue.
  • Provide direction, management, and development opportunities to a team of web strategy, web management, web operations, digital experience, UX design, systems integration, and product compatibility professionals.
  • Act as the primary point of contact in the US for all marketing technology third party relationships.
  • Accountable for the budget worldwide, optimizing spend for maximum return.
  • Champion connections between different teams, translating sophisticated ideas to align business and technology goals, strategy, revenue, and user needs.
  • Apply analytics and perform market and competitive intelligence research to assist partner understanding options, opportunities, and potential barriers.

Requirements

  • A decade of leading strong technology and e-commerce focused teams at a senior level.
  • BS degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in digital marketing a plus.
  • Advanced level knowledge of web and e-commerce platforms.
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Commerce, Adobe Analytics, Test and Target, and Adobe Experience Manager.
  • Knowledgeable in HTML, XHTML, CSS design, cross-browser, cross-platform compatibility (functionality and maintenance), and JavaScript.
  • In-depth understanding of SEO standard methodologies.
  • Experience with website accessibility, such as WCAG standards.
  • Experience with online privacy directives such as CCPA and GDPR.
  • Ability to troubleshoot website issues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Data-driven, analytical and possessing outstanding problem-solving skills.
  • High level of attention to detail, including a proven track record of coordinating multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Highly effective communication, presentation, and influencing skills with senior management.
