The Sr. Manager/Director of Project Management at Capital Vacations will be a crucial figure in enhancing and overseeing the project management processes within the organization. The individual will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and developing a team of project managers, fostering an environment of collaboration and continuous improvement. In this position, the Sr. Manager/Director will gather and analyze data pertinent to operations and business initiatives, ensuring that all projects are aligned with the strategic objectives of the company. The role requires coordination with various departmental teams to enhance productivity and identify opportunities for automation. The successful candidate will be adept at testing business processes, recommending improvements, and converting roadmap features into actionable requirements. Additionally, the individual will be responsible for writing clear and structured documentation, creating reports, dashboards, and visualizations that facilitate understanding of workflows. Analyzing process issues and bottlenecks will be a key part of the role, as will communicating and validating requirements with stakeholders. The Sr. Manager/Director will also develop and maintain reporting tools, perform discovery and scoping for assigned projects, and write Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to document process and workflow changes. This position is pivotal in ensuring that Capital Vacations continues to excel in its project management capabilities and overall operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze data for operations/business initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a master's degree is a plus
  • Proven experience as a project manager and leader, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects
  • Understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices
  • Technical competency and passion for using advanced technology to support business growth and transformation
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with concurrent timelines and deliverables
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
