About the position

The Senior Manager, Education Technology & Operations is responsible for overseeing NACD's education and event technology, including registration and product setup, learning management systems, and virtual platforms. This role involves project management, operational reporting, and team leadership, ensuring that all educational programs meet customer service and delivery standards. The Senior Manager collaborates with various departments to implement effective education technology solutions and improve operational processes.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain awareness of industry standards related to education delivery platforms.
  • Develop and implement plans for new education technology to enhance product offerings.
  • Provide oversight of projects and customer service for education delivery systems.
  • Identify process improvements and implement measures to streamline efforts.
  • Create RFPs for technology vendors and manage vendor relationships.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure clarity in communication and processes.
  • Create key data reports for strategic decision-making.
  • Establish registration standards and processes for NACD programs and events.
  • Provide project management oversight for registration processes and virtual event executions.
  • Train onsite technology team to provide excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of experience in customer service, virtual learning, registration, or project management.
  • Strong technical, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and managing teams.
  • Experience in contracting and relationship building with vendors.
  • Exemplary attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Experience with Cvent is required; familiarity with Salesforce, LearnUpon, and Monday.com is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with Salesforce and other project management tools.
  • Experience in the education technology sector.
