About the position

The Sr. Manager, Email & Marketing Automation at HealthStream, Inc. is responsible for overseeing the development, execution, and analysis of email marketing campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Pardot. This role focuses on lead generation, nurturing, and retention efforts, leveraging insights to optimize campaign performance and enhance audience engagement. The position requires collaboration with product marketers to generate new sales qualified leads and increase engagement with existing leads, while ensuring effective CRM integration and operational data flows.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute end-to-end email marketing campaigns across multiple solution lines, including behaviorally triggered email lifecycle campaigns.
  • Segment and manage email lists, ensuring accurate targeting and personalized communication based on customer demographics and behavior.
  • Lead and conduct A/B testing on marketing programs to maximize effectiveness.
  • Manage email operations, ensuring efficient data flow, targeting, and event tracking.
  • Execute quality assurance processes, maintain a master email calendar, and monitor distribution for successful sends.
  • Monitor lead acceleration from Marketing Cloud & Pardot to CRM to ensure accurate data flow.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define segments, audiences, frequency, and priorities.
  • Provide insights and support for broader marketing objectives as a strategic partner.
  • Use data insights to make data-driven decisions and recommend improvements for campaign effectiveness.
  • Demonstrate email best practices, including subject lines, messaging, and segmentation.
  • Manage, organize, and prioritize multiple projects at different stages of completion.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations such as CAN-SPAM and GDPR.
  • Stay updated with the latest B2B marketing automation practices and recommend optimal utilization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in B2B marketing automation and operations with proficiency in Pardot and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Strong background in email marketing strategy and execution, including lifecycle emails and nurture campaigns.
  • Experience with audience segmentation within Customer Data Platforms is preferred.
  • Experience in implementing and optimizing marketing campaigns targeting business decision-makers.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certification in Pardot or Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a plus.
