About the position

The position involves leading the coordination efforts of facility engineers to ensure effective preventative maintenance and repair services for facility equipment. Responsibilities

  • Lead coordination efforts of facility engineers for preventative maintenance and repairs of facility equipment.
  • Monitor and document scheduled preventative maintenance to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Establish processes to ensure facilities equipment passes safety checks and inspections.
  • Create developmental opportunities for team members and build collaborative relationships.
  • Solicit and act on performance feedback to drive improvement.
  • Hire, train, and develop talent for growth opportunities and succession planning.
  • Oversee implementation of organizational changes and share best practices across teams.
  • Foster open dialogue and collaboration among team members to meet business objectives.
  • Delegate tasks and decisions appropriately while providing support and guidance.
  • Translate business plans into tactical action items and oversee completion of work assignments.
  • Align team efforts and build accountability for achieving results.
  • Communicate goals and objectives, incorporating resources and forecasts into plans.
  • Remove obstacles impacting performance and guide teams in improvement opportunities.
  • Oversee installation and updates of facilities equipment and provide user training.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for preventative maintenance.
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise long-term equipment maintenance requests.
  • Promote a safe environment by driving completion of safety tasks and participating in safety programs.
  • Contribute to vendor relationship management and assess operational processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or technical disciplines in Plant Operations, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, or related field.
  • Minimum seven (7) years of experience in Engineering, Plant Operations, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, or a directly related field, or ten (10) years of relevant experience without a degree.
  • Valid driver's license in applicable location.
