About the position

The Senior Manager of Finance & Business Operations plays a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy and operations of Comcast's multi-dwelling units (MDU) Finance and Operations team. This position is responsible for overseeing financial aspects related to gated communities, including deal negotiation, contract management, financial analysis, and performance reporting. The role ensures that financial decisions are strategically aligned and effectively managed, contributing to the overall success of the Communities Sales channel.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze the return on investment (ROI) for ongoing deals and projects, adjusting strategies as needed.
• Engage with stakeholders to negotiate terms and conditions favorable to the organization.
• Lead the budgeting process, including forecasting and variance analysis.
• Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.
• Compile and analyze subscriber data to track performance and trends.
• Prepare detailed reports on subscriber metrics, including growth, retention, and churn rates.
• Support strategic planning efforts with financial data and analysis.
• Implement and review company policies and procedures for consistency.
• Train, supervise, and develop Finance staff, managing daily activities of the Finance team.
• Make strategy and operations decisions that directly impact business.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (Required)
• 7-10 years of relevant work experience
• Public accounting experience preferred
• Strong analytical skills and experience with financial planning and analysis (FP&A)
• Leadership and relationship-building skills
• Proficiency in data analysis and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
