About the position

The Sr Manager, Finance at Comcast is responsible for providing financial and operational analysis to leadership, supporting business unit decision-making by identifying risks and opportunities. This role involves managing accounting transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and developing financial objectives aligned with business goals. The position also includes training and supervising finance staff, contributing to strategy development, and making impactful operational decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with leadership to support business planning and operational processes throughout the year.
  • Develop financial and operational objectives and analyze reports to communicate findings and risks.
  • Facilitate Finance professionals' ability to support business unit management and other departments with informational requests and special projects.
  • Implement and review company policies and procedures for consistency.
  • Train, supervise, and develop Finance staff, managing daily activities and suggesting performance improvements.
  • Make strategy and operations decisions that directly impact business results.
  • Exercise independent judgment and discretion in significant matters.
  • Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance, with the ability to work nights, weekends, and overtime as necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related field.
  • 7-10 years of relevant work experience in finance and accounting.
