About the position

The Sr. Manager, Global Marketing Communications at Molecular Devices is responsible for overseeing and enhancing the company's product and brand portfolio through the development and implementation of a cohesive communications strategy. This role is crucial for fostering team capabilities, promoting cross-functional collaboration, and aligning communication initiatives with business objectives to elevate brand prominence in the life sciences sector.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing, globally distributed marketing communications team.
  • Design and execute multi-channel communication strategies, including portfolio positioning and public relations.
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to plan and execute impactful internal and external events.
  • Develop a digital strategy execution plan for web properties and social media.
  • Implement sales enablement strategies to drive lead generation and support the sales process.
  • Influence and align with Global Product Marketing, Regional Marketing, and Sales for cohesive communication strategies.
  • Drive brand strategy and tactical implementation to enhance brand awareness and market penetration.
  • Establish metrics to monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing programs.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field; knowledge of life science workflows is advantageous.
  • Minimum of 8 years in marketing communications, preferably within biotechnology or life sciences.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading marketing teams with clear goals and targets.
  • Proficiency in multi-channel campaign development and digital marketing.
  • Experience in cross-functional leadership and collaboration with executive stakeholders.
