About the position

The Sr Manager, Global Product Marketing for Gene and Cell Therapy at Terumo BCT is responsible for providing strategic leadership in product management across multiple markets. This role involves developing product strategies that drive growth, overseeing product lifecycle management, and ensuring effective cross-functional collaboration to enhance product offerings. The position requires a strong focus on market research, customer engagement, and competitive analysis to support the commercialization of innovative therapies.

Responsibilities

  • Develops a strategic plan and roadmap for product management and execution.
  • Collaborates with R&D and external parties on product development and commercialization.
  • Leads the development of messaging for the Global Therapy Innovations portfolio.
  • Conducts market research to inform product strategy and pricing.
  • Provides leadership and support for global commercialization efforts.
  • Maintains significant contact with customers and professional organizations.
  • Participates in market development activities to increase product adoption.
  • Coordinates with regional marketing for promotional materials and customer communications.
  • Evaluates product communication and support tools for effectiveness.
  • Manages product sunset processes to minimize customer disruption.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in sales and/or marketing.
  • At least 3 years of experience in cell therapy or clinical markets.
  • Extensive knowledge of cell and gene therapy product applications.
  • Advanced sales and marketing techniques with a strong market execution knowledge.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of phase-gate product development processes.
  • Ability to support sales goals and profitability consistently.
  • Knowledge of product positioning and competitive market analysis.
  • Experience in global marketing strategies and market requirements.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
