About the position

The Senior Manager HQ Workplace Technology is responsible for supporting business requirements, project and change management, and communications for key Workplace Management Technology programs. This role involves delivering specific initiatives, producing actionable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and ensuring alignment with operational processes while partnering with various stakeholders. The position also focuses on customer relationship management and the development of business requirements for Workplace Management technology, ensuring that the technology platform meets current and future needs of Marriott's HQ Campus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with Marriott stakeholders and user groups to understand their challenges, goals, and objectives.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all systems/technology utilized within Workplace Management.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and make recommendations to leadership as the facilities technology subject matter expert.
  • Introduce industry trends and knowledge to improve the associate experience and ease of systems.
  • Collaborate with teams on identifying improvement opportunities and create Requests for Proposals (RFP) and/or Statements of Work (SOW).
  • Help define opportunities for innovation, procurement, and market research strategies.
  • Support the development of SOWs and coordinate with facilities-specific technology software and service providers.
  • Conduct analysis of business requirements with respect to systems, process workflow, and staffing.
  • Create documentation to communicate 'as-is' and 'to-be' conditions, processes, technical and staffing model solutions, ROI criteria, KPIs, and measurement criteria with software product and service providers.
  • Implement industry best practices and provide project direction to software and services providers.

Requirements

  • BS/BA in Business Management, Data Management, or related discipline.
  • At least five years working with and/or implementing complex business systems.
  • Experience with full project lifecycle delivery of real estate, facility management, and/or occupancy planning technology in enterprise corporate environments.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proficiency with IWMS, CAFM, CMMS, EAM, and/or AutoCAD systems, as well as with ServiceNow/Nuvolo.
  • Experience leading teams at a major systems integrator or consulting firm.
  • Possess subject matter expertise on trends relating to technology and real estate/facilities industries.
