The Sr. Manager / HR Generalist position at Kelly Services involves providing comprehensive HR support within a leading biotech and pharmaceutical company. Responsibilities

  • Advise on and help resolve complex people issues and interpersonal conflicts.
  • Mediate and help resolve interpersonal conflicts and misunderstandings.
  • Conduct intake interviews with complainants and triage to the appropriate team.
  • Lightly investigate concerns that may lead to coaching and document findings.
  • Support compliance with corporate disciplinary action processes.
  • Manage time and attendance issues, including long-term leave situations.
  • Guide managers through the performance review process and provide coaching.
  • Support the development and implementation of performance improvement plans.
  • Partner on organizational changes, restructuring, and mergers.
  • Collaborate with business to understand goals and provide tailored HR strategies.
  • Facilitate conversations around HR metrics and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Support efforts to update and revise HR policies in alignment with organizational culture.
  • Monitor and support compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Serve as the sponsor for HR compliance matters for the business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5+ years in a People Partner role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Proven experience in handling employee relations, talent management, and change management.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work strategically and operationally, leveraging intended processes.
  • Experience with case management systems and HR analytics.
  • Certifications like SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR are a plus.
