About the position

The Health, Safety, Environment, and Facilities Leader at Honeywell plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and efficient operation of the organization's facilities. This position involves managing health and safety protocols, environmental compliance, and facility maintenance, contributing to a safe and productive work environment while promoting sustainability and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead the HSE team to develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
• Oversee facility maintenance and repairs, ensuring all equipment and infrastructure are operational.
• Manage facility budgets and seek cost-effective solutions while maintaining high standards.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors for specialized services and negotiate contracts.
• Implement energy-saving and sustainable practices to reduce operational costs and environmental impact.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Develop and maintain emergency response plans for facility-related incidents.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to understand facility needs and provide updates.

Requirements

• 4 or more years of experience in facilities infrastructure, design, construction, or similar.
• 4 or more years of experience in project management or management operating system development.
• Ability and willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.
• U.S. citizenship is required due to contractual requirements.

Nice-to-haves

• Undergraduate degree in business or a technical discipline.
• Project Management Certification.
• Excellent planning, execution, and project management skills.
