About the position

The Human Resources Manager plays a crucial role in implementing HR plans and programs to ensure the effective utilization of human resources within assigned departments. This position is responsible for resolving general associate relations issues, gathering information for investigations, and addressing turnover while identifying trends and problems that may arise. The HR Manager will also focus on identifying breaches of company culture and values that impact the workplace, ensuring that there is consistency in the practice of standard operating procedures (SOP) and compliance with employment law. In addition to managing succession planning, management development, and performance management in the assigned area, the HR Manager provides tools and facilitates meetings to ensure ongoing development, such as 360-degree feedback sessions. The role involves advising management on organizational structure changes and decisions, providing tools like climate surveys and town hall meetings to drive cultural change within the organization. The HR Manager is also responsible for training management on selection and staffing resources and tools, raising awareness of diversity, and implementing methods to increase the quality and diversity of the candidate pool. This may include planning, coordinating, and attending job fairs. Furthermore, the HR Manager will counsel and coach management on business decisions related to personnel issues, leadership, and management effectiveness. The position may also involve representing HR in corporate-wide initiatives and conducting training classes on HR issues and associate orientations. Additionally, the HR Manager may manage HR projects as required, ensuring that all initiatives align with the company's strategic goals.

Requirements

  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
  • Must pass the Drug Test.
  • Must successfully complete any required training or orientation courses.
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field is required.
  • Five to eight years of experience in Human Resources is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • A Master's degree is preferred.
