About the position

As a Sr. Manager, Incentive Compensation at Baxter, you will play a critical role in supporting the sales team's Incentive Compensation program. This position involves designing and driving processes while collaborating closely with sales leaders. You will be responsible for leading quota development for multiple business verticals, managing commission and contest plans, and fostering a high-functioning team environment. Your leadership will be essential in driving continuous improvement initiatives and enhancing the value of compensation products and services across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Quota Development for multiple business verticals totaling ~ $1.5B
  • Design/Manage ~ 30 commission/contest plans
  • Demonstrate leadership for high functioning project and process teams
  • Lead and develop compensation design, modelling and performance reporting across multiple functions
  • Manage acquisition and/or divestiture initiatives to onboard new applications, teams, and processes
  • Sponsor and lead continuous improvement initiatives (LEAN)
  • Foster an environment of problem solvers while motivating and developing team members
  • Manage prioritization and execution of internal and cross functional initiatives
  • Drive process innovation to identify procedural gaps and enhance customer satisfaction
  • Adhere to compliance with internal procedures and processes

Requirements

  • BA/BS required OR equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years of experience in Finance, Commercial Operations, or related field
  • Incentive Compensation experience required
  • Broad US franchise business understanding of all facets of Incentive Compensation
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Experience with advanced analytical models and problem-solving skills
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau creator, and downstream data sources
  • Demonstrates ownership and accountability for delivering timely and accurate results
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Eagerness to lead through and develop innovative solutions using digital technology
  • Strong understanding of Sales Performance Management (SPM) tools such as Xactly and IBM/Varicent preferred

  • Base salary range of $136,000 to $187,000
