Responsibilities
- Perform a wide variety of services required for effective operation of the department.
- Work closely with the Director of IT Finance & Supplier Management to handle complex responsibilities.
- Lead financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting for IT expenses on a monthly basis.
- Oversee IT Invoice Processing team.
- Manage internal labor utilization and IT SOW / CO contracts administration.
- Lead the annual IT budget planning process.
- Prepare and present monthly financial updates to IT leadership & FP&A teams.
- Motivate and mentor 3 direct FTEs and contractors.
- Review IT contracts for legal compliance and accounting policy alignment.
- Identify risks & opportunities and provide actionable insights to Tech leadership.
- Execute monthly accounting closing activities.
- Provide thought leadership and advice to aid senior IT leadership in decision making.
- Design and deploy capitalization and cloud computing policy education and compliance.
- Manage the end-to-end centralized IT invoicing function.
- Work collaboratively with IT, Project Management, Procurement, FP&A, and accounting teams.
- Lead and manage the annual IT financial budgeting process.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional experience (CPA is preferred).
- 6-8 years of experience in a corporate setting with 2+ years in a Sr. Manager position.
- Strong working knowledge of general accounting concepts, monthly close process, financial reporting, and GAAP concepts.
- Technical accounting knowledge (ASC 360, ASC 350-40 & ASC 350-50).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong demonstrated analytical & financial skills.
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- High energy team player with a positive working attitude.
- Advanced skills in MS Office Tools (Excel & PowerPoint).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Well organized and self-motivated.
- Proven track record of delivering high quality solutions on time.
- Experience with SAP S4, Ariba, and Planview is a plus.
