Responsibilities

  • Provide technical direction over a collaborative team of engineers, vendors and third-party providers to deliver and manage the Harris Williams IT infrastructure environment.
  • Fostering a close-knit team that receives coaching, mentoring, and training focused on security, uptime, response time, and efficient delivery.
  • Partner and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, prioritization and progress in the planning and delivery of tactical efforts and strategic projects.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, prioritization, innovation, and proactive problem-solving within the technology infrastructure and security team.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive IT Infrastructure strategy and roadmap focused on eliminating technology and process debt.
  • Redefine, implement and extend IT operational standards in line with ITIL best practices.
  • Define key metrics regarding IT infrastructure health, performance and availability and prepare/deliver as part of broader KPI set.
  • Define and lead a comprehensive, multi-platform initiative focused on on premise to cloud migration of data center resources.
  • Ensure technology risk-related requirements and processes are executed timely and effectively.
  • Monitor Harris Williams environment for security concerns/findings and raise concerns with the Security Team as needed.
  • Ensure team members have individual development plans, clear definitions of ownership and priority and training where needed.
  • Participate in annual Technology planning cycle, develop and manage the IT Infrastructure budget.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience designing, implementing, troubleshooting and supporting enterprise Microsoft environments, M365/ Azure deployments and Office suites.
  • 10+ years directly leading / managing technical teams in large-scale corporate technology settings.
  • High degree of technical creativity and the ability to lead the continuous improvement of platform sustainability, functionality and performance.
  • Proficiency in gathering stakeholder needs, using these to establish technical vision.
  • Expert level of knowledge in Windows desktop operating systems.
  • Expert level of knowledge in Active Directory / Entra maintenance, configuration and enterprise identity management.
  • Expert level of knowledge in Azure tenant architecture, configuration, security, monitoring and support.
  • Expert level knowledge of virtual environments and their design, configuration, administration and security.
  • Expert level of knowledge in Windows server operating systems, administration and security.
  • Advanced level of knowledge of applying risk-based security architecture and hardening concepts.
