About the position

The Sr Manager, IT Product Management Senior at Charles Schwab & Company, Inc. is responsible for leading the product management efforts for the Hyperscience Platform. This role involves collaborating with the Product Owner and scrum team to establish a vision and execution strategy, driving the refinement of user stories, and ensuring successful product development and deployment. The position requires strong leadership skills to manage the product backlog and act as a liaison between business and technical teams, ultimately driving transformational change in business processes.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product Owner on the Hyperscience Platform to establish a vision and execution strategy for the scrum team.
  • Participate in scrum ceremonies and drive refinement of user stories.
  • Lead and develop the product backlog and user stories backlog for implementation.
  • Partner with the scrum team (developers, QA, scrum master) to execute on sprint goals and Program Increment (PI) commitments.
  • Highlight product features and explain user stories in a manner clearly understandable to the development team.
  • Gather and document requirements as user stories, translating business/functional requirements into technical requirements.
  • Coordinate development, testing, and implementation of solutions with technology partners.
  • Support users post-deployment, identifying issues and driving resolution with technology partners.
  • Supervise the progress of product development and assist with product release planning and testing.
  • Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams, working with stakeholders to document requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 years of progressive, post-Bachelor's related experience.
  • Related skills may be required.
