About the position

At Schwab, the Senior Manager of IT Product Management plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of the Hyperscience Platform. This position empowers you to collaborate closely with the Product Owner to establish a clear vision and execution strategy for the scrum team. You will actively engage in scrum ceremonies, providing valuable feedback on sprint goals and achievements, ensuring that the team remains aligned with the overall product vision. Your participation in these ceremonies will be crucial in driving the refinement of user stories, which are essential for the successful implementation of the product backlog. In this role, you will help lead and develop the product backlog, as well as the user stories backlog, ensuring that all items are well-defined and prioritized for implementation. You will partner with the scrum team, which includes developers, QA, and the scrum master, to execute on sprint goals and Program Increment (PI) commitments. Your ability to highlight product features and explain user stories in a clear and understandable manner will be key to facilitating effective communication within the development team. Gathering and documenting requirements as user stories will be a significant part of your responsibilities, as you will translate business and functional requirements into technical specifications. You will coordinate the development, testing, and implementation of solutions with technology partners, ensuring that all aspects of the product development lifecycle are managed effectively. Post-deployment, you will support users by identifying issues and driving resolutions in collaboration with our technology partners. Supervising the progress of product development and assisting with product release planning and testing will also fall under your purview. You will act as a liaison between business users and technical teams, working with a multitude of stakeholders to document requirements that drive transformational change to existing business processes.
