About the position

Charles Schwab & Company, Inc. is seeking a Sr Manager, IT Product Management Senior to join our team in Westlake, TX. This role is pivotal in collaborating with the Product Owner on the Hyperscience Platform to establish a clear vision and execution strategy for the scrum team. The successful candidate will actively engage in scrum ceremonies, providing valuable feedback on sprint goals and achievements. This position requires participation in scrum ceremonies and driving the refinement of user stories, ensuring that the product backlog and user stories backlog are well-developed for implementation. In this role, you will partner closely with the scrum team, which includes developers, QA, and the scrum master, to execute on sprint goals and Program Increment (PI) commitments. You will be responsible for highlighting product features and explaining user stories in a manner that is easily understandable to the development team. Gathering and documenting requirements as user stories is a key responsibility, as is translating business and functional requirements into technical requirements. You will coordinate the development, testing, and implementation of solutions with technology partners, ensuring a smooth transition from development to deployment. Post-deployment, you will support users by identifying issues and driving resolution with our technology partners. Supervising the progress of product development and assisting with product release planning and testing will also be part of your duties. Acting as a liaison between business users and technical teams, you will work with a multitude of stakeholders to document requirements that drive transformational change to existing business processes. This role is essential for ensuring that our products meet the needs of our users while aligning with the strategic goals of the organization.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Requires 5 years of progressive, post-Bachelor's related experience.
  • Related skills may be required.
