About the position

The Senior Manager for Global Supply Chain Planning at Mattel is responsible for enhancing the visibility of supply chain data across systems that support critical Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) and Sales and Operations Execution (S&OE) processes. This role requires a strong understanding of data modeling and supply chain business acumen, particularly in demand and supply planning, to facilitate replenishment and fulfillment. The position reports to the Director of Planning, Global Technology.

Responsibilities

  • Drive and improve visibility of supply chain data across systems supporting S&OP and S&OE processes.
  • Engage in rigorous root cause analysis, problem solving, and solution implementations.
  • Support Planning business by maintaining and updating systems and data used, including AS400, Blue Yonder, Anaplan Demand Planning, and Order Management Systems.
  • Identify, vet, review with leadership, and implement process improvements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for Planning Data Analytics and Platforms within Global IT.
  • Work with GTO teams to provide timely and accurate data by improving processes and technology.
  • Identify and address all IT issues for planning and optimize infrastructure, hardware, software, and processes in partnership with the GSC business team.
  • Serve as the primary conduit to supply chain planning business leadership for technology modernization initiatives across all project lifecycle phases.
  • Gather detailed requirements and processes from the business team for new capability deployment.
  • Advance the use of analytics to make data-informed decisions to optimize supply chain processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of related experience in Supply Chain technology/Planning/Replenishment/CPG/Fast Fashion/Toy industry.
  • Knowledge and experience with deploying operating systems, applications, patch management, and desired configurations.
  • Skilled in data and analytics with superior skills in enabling business and IT teams to leverage data in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Expert understanding of various modern technology platforms that support supply chain distribution and fulfillment, ideally in B2B and D2C CPG, fashion, and retail industries.
  • Expert program management skills including the ability to effectively integrate and manage competing resources.
  • Expert relationship management/networking skills.
  • Expert verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated expertise with negotiating conflicts.
  • Expert leadership skills; prior management experience within supply chain technology.
