The Senior Manager is responsible for recruiting and supporting the development of direct staff members, directing and controlling activities within a sub-region or region, and typically managing 10 or more direct reports. In this role, the Senior Manager will manage a team that supports a large and complex business unit or finance function. Responsibilities include hiring, setting and monitoring annual performance plans, coaching, and career development, ensuring that the proper tools are in place to support the team and processes. The Senior Manager will lead complex financial analysis for a global business or finance function, utilizing a strong understanding of the business to determine the best methods for achieving objectives. Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting and analysis to the business is crucial. The Senior Manager will consult with business leaders to drive and influence strategic decision-making within a broad scope, including long-term business planning, product analysis and development, balancing risk, and approving significant deals. Additionally, the Senior Manager will proactively drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function globally. This includes actively reviewing, analyzing, and managing key controls within the domain of responsibility to ensure compliance with legal and accounting requirements such as GAAP, SBC, and AFM.
