About the position

The Sr. Manager, Sourcing Logistics is responsible for leading strategic sourcing activities for logistics-related categories, managing an estimated $350M in annual spend. This role focuses on developing cost reduction strategies, optimizing supplier performance, and ensuring compliance with regulations while collaborating with key business stakeholders. The position is based in Frisco, TX and reports to the Sr. Director of Indirect Procurement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute strategic sourcing activities for logistics categories.
  • Develop effective cost reduction strategies and implementation plans.
  • Create an environment of strategic collaboration with suppliers.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed specifications for sourcing.
  • Conduct industry deep dive analysis for proactive category insights.
  • Develop and execute category strategies with business partners.
  • Define best-in-class sourcing procurement processes utilizing Ariba.
  • Ensure compliance with Corporate Environmental Sustainability and Regulatory efforts.
  • Manage supplier risk and continuity business plans.
  • Ensure suppliers comply with food safety regulations.
  • Influence stakeholders on procurement policies and practices.
  • Execute legal contracting and contract administration in Ariba.
  • Utilize analytical tools to draw conclusions from large data sets.
  • Communicate complex ideas effectively to a wide audience.
  • Build strong customer relationships and interact with all organizational levels.
  • Lead small cross-functional teams to drive shared goals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in strategic sourcing and category management.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and other analytical tools.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Ariba or similar procurement systems.
  • Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong team player with a collaborative management style.
  • Experience in risk management and compliance with regulations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the beverage industry or related fields.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and compliance.
  • Knowledge of contract administration and legal requirements in procurement.
