The Senior Manager, Market Research will use experience in market research, data analytics, strategy development, and communication to provide industry, market, product, and competitive insights to the Marvin organization that will aid in strategic decision making. This position will partner with functional leaders to determine critical business needs and lead insights gathering/developing initiatives to influence new ways of thinking for key stakeholders in all geographies and levels of the organization. The Senior Manager, Market Research will lead a team and continue to build out the competency for market research and insights. The successful candidate will bring a consultative mindset that champions the role of insights in decision-making, can partner across functions to define insights needs and is comfortable engaging at multiple levels of the organization to build an impactful market insights function. This person will be an engaged leader of multiple direct reports taking accountability for managing both their contributions to the business and their career development. This position is challenged to come up with new and creative solutions to meet the most difficult or foundational research needs of the business. The role requires the ability to select the appropriate research methodology and techniques and handle all stages of the project from proposal to presentation.
