About the position

The Sr. Manager, Marketing Operations is a pivotal role within the Client's marketing organization, responsible for driving the operational backbone that supports all marketing initiatives, particularly in the B2B sector across various products and solutions. This position requires a strategic leader who has experience in building, operating, and scaling marketing technology stacks and related processes that yield measurable business impact. The ideal candidate will be adept at identifying training needs within the marketing team and leading initiatives to address these needs, ensuring that the team is equipped to meet the demands of a dynamic marketing landscape. In this role, the Sr. Manager will develop and execute a comprehensive marketing technology vision, conducting audits of the existing technology stack to assess its effectiveness in lead processing, measurement, and automation capabilities. The candidate will also be responsible for the direct implementation of new technologies aligned with business objectives. Managing a small team, the Sr. Manager will evaluate personnel needs to support growth and may utilize contract resources as necessary. The position also involves establishing efficient processes that support a world-class marketing organization, collaborating closely with sales operations and leaders to optimize lead development and hand-off processes, thereby maximizing marketing ROI. The Sr. Manager will own the reporting engine for marketing programs, working with marketing managers to analyze results and identify growth opportunities. Cross-functional collaboration is essential, as the Sr. Manager will engage with key stakeholders to address challenges and leverage marketing's impact on the business. Effective communication is crucial in this role, as the Sr. Manager will share project updates, timelines, and results across the marketing and broader organization, advocating for the marketing team's contributions to business success. Additionally, the role includes managing the Service Level Agreement (SLA) with sales teams, ensuring lead quality, and streamlining processes for capturing leads from various marketing initiatives. The candidate will also be responsible for establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and advise on strategies to enhance the marketable audience, particularly for key personas.
