About the position

The Sr. Manager, Marketing Operations plays a crucial role in the marketing organization, responsible for overseeing the marketing technology stack and related processes to enhance business impact. This position requires a strategic thinker who can analyze and improve operations while leading a small team and collaborating cross-functionally to drive marketing effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the marketing technology vision.
  • Audit and evaluate the existing marketing technology stack for lead processing and automation capabilities.
  • Direct implementation of new technologies according to business goals.
  • Manage one individual contributor and assess team personnel needs.
  • Establish processes to support a world-class marketing organization and ensure efficiency.
  • Collaborate with sales operations and leaders for effective lead development and hand-off processes.
  • Own the reporting engine and analysis for marketing programs, identifying growth opportunities.
  • Work cross-functionally with stakeholders to understand marketing's impact on challenges and opportunities.
  • Communicate project updates, timelines, and results across the organization, championing the marketing team's impact.
  • Manage the Service Level Agreement (SLA) with sales teams and report on lead quality and follow-up.
  • Work with marketing communications to build campaign target lists and streamline lead capture processes.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of marketing automation platforms and CRM systems.
  • Experience with account-based marketing practices and tools.
  • Leader in marketing automation and demand generation best practices.
  • Data-driven and analytical with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong project management and communication skills.
  • Experience with marketing systems like Pardot, Salesforce, and Asana.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and its ecosystems.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and implementation skills.
  • Proven ability to lead projects and cross-functional teams.
  • Motivated and execution-oriented with strong organizational capabilities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with project management tools such as Smartsheet or Asana.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
