About the position

The Sr. Manager of Marketing Operations will coordinate the Medical/Legal/Regulatory (MLR) review process, ensuring compliance and adherence to processes among all stakeholders. This role involves facilitating the promotional review process, providing feedback, and managing submissions and approvals of promotional materials in a regulated industry, particularly within the life sciences sector.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the MLR review process ensuring compliance and process adherence.
  • Facilitate, plan, and prioritize the promotional review process.
  • Provide feedback to stakeholders based on training, reporting metrics, and observations.
  • Organize and execute the MLR review and approval of promotional materials.
  • Manage MLR submission processes for assigned regions and brands, creating and updating process documentation.
  • Guide stakeholders through the MLR lifecycle, providing continuous education on processes and systems.
  • Schedule and facilitate MLR team meetings, ensuring materials are prioritized appropriately.
  • Support MLR material submissions to the Vault and circulation of materials for review.
  • Monitor and manage materials in the approval queue for efficient processing.
  • Track MLR reviewer comments and elicit necessary revisions from stakeholders.
  • Coordinate final approvals with the Regulatory department and support OPDP submission processes.
  • Train new employees and vendors on the MLR process and Vault usage.
  • Maintain Veeva Vault content, including task reassignments and running reports.
  • Provide administrative and project support as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of work experience required.
  • Experience in marketing operations or a creative agency.
  • Experience in a regulated industry (Pharmaceuticals, Finance, Medical Device, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on data accuracy.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience managing multiple projects with various internal stakeholders.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Nice-to-haves

  • Global experience is a plus.
  • Experience communicating directly with customers preferred.
  • Ability to work with individuals in different functional areas.
