About the position

The Sr. Manager, Marketing Strategy at Octapharma Plasma is responsible for leading the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the company's business objectives. The position also involves analyzing performance metrics, managing the marketing budget, and mentoring a marketing manager to foster a high-performing team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies that align with overall business objectives and drive long-term growth.
  • Oversee market research efforts to assess trends, competitive dynamics, and consumer behavior, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
  • Direct the planning and implementation of high-impact, multi-channel marketing campaigns, maintaining brand consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Analyze performance metrics and KPIs to assess the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, providing strategic recommendations for optimization and growth.
  • Manage and allocate the marketing budget to maximize ROI and ensure efficient use of resources across all channels and campaigns.
  • Define and refine brand positioning strategies that strengthen market presence, customer loyalty, and differentiation from competitors.
  • Partner closely with marketing leadership, operations, operational excellence, and analytics teams to ensure alignment between marketing strategies and business goals.
  • Guide the identification and segmentation of key customer groups, tailoring marketing strategies to effectively engage each segment.
  • Oversee digital marketing innovation, working with SEO, SEM, paid media, email, content marketing, and social media team strategies to drive engagement and conversion.
  • Keep the organization at the forefront of marketing innovation by staying ahead of industry trends, new technologies, and best practices.
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing marketing manager, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and results.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing strategy, brand management, or a similar role.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement successful marketing strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of all marketing deliverables.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in marketing software (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM platforms).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
