About the position

The Sr. Manager, NA Strategic Sourcing will lead Hach's Strategic Sourcing team across Europe and North America, focusing on optimizing supply chain strategies and managing supplier relationships. This role is pivotal in driving innovation and ensuring the future of water quality technology, while fostering a culture of inclusivity and professional growth within the team.

Responsibilities

• Inspire and mentor a diverse team, fostering a culture of inclusivity, professional growth, and collaboration.
• Develop and execute cutting-edge commodity strategies, maximizing cost efficiency, quality, and supply chain resilience.
• Drive KPIs for Purchase Price Variance (PPV), Supplier On-time Delivery (OTD), Contract and Supplier Risk Management (SRM), and Days Payable Outstanding (DPO) to support Hach's financial performance and business goals.
• Work closely with Finance, Operations, Quality, Engineering, and other departments to create seamless cross-functional synergies.
• Monitor global market trends and use data-driven insights to adapt sourcing strategies, ensuring competitiveness in a dynamic marketplace.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience.
• Minimum of 12 years of supply chain experience, with expertise in strategic sourcing.
• Demonstrated success in people management and team development.
• Willingness to travel (up to 50%).
• Experience with ERP systems, strategic planning, and negotiations.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in business administration or supply chain management.
