About the position

The Sr. Manager of Business Operations at Eurofins DiscoverX Products, LLC is responsible for enhancing business operations efficiency and effectiveness within the drug discovery research industry. This role involves managing product information, improving operational processes, and overseeing business reporting and new product initiatives, all while collaborating with various teams to positively impact human health worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Manage master product information across various systems including ERP (AX) and website product details.
• Update channel partners on product information, availability, and pricing.
• Collaborate with the NPI team to enhance efficiency and reduce launch times.
• Work with customer service and supply chain teams to improve e-commerce usage and backorder management.
• Facilitate IT solution onboarding with IT and marketing teams.
• Establish and maintain effective business reporting tools and processes.
• Create and manage dashboards for portfolio, marketing, finance, and sales.
• Own and manage the NPI process for product launches and discontinuations.
• Notify the sales team of updates for NPIs and product changes.
• Ensure QA manages Approved Product documentation in collaboration with R&D and Operations.
• Gather metrics for evaluating new product initiatives and lifecycle management decisions.
• Lead and manage the CCL process and maintain related SOPs.
• Manage global procurement partners and support distributor networks.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of finance and business operational processes.
• Strong experience with multiple databases and proficiency in Excel, BI, SharePoint, and MS Office Suite.
• Experience in the operational dynamics of a Life Science or Drug Discovery company.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Six Sigma.
• Bachelor's Degree with 7+ years of industrial experience and 3+ years in a supervisory role; advanced degree in business preferred.
