About the position

The Sr. Manager of Marketing Technology Operations at Konica Minolta is responsible for leading the marketing operations team, managing data and analytics, and overseeing marketing automation processes. This role focuses on improving customer experience through intelligent campaign flows and data-driven insights, while also mentoring and developing the team to drive engagement and efficiency in marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and motivate a dynamic marketing operations team.
  • Enable campaign flow automation and create data-driven reporting and analysis from multiple sources, including marketing automation platforms and CRM systems.
  • Work with businesses and marketing members to understand customer segmentation and build audiences for campaign initiatives.
  • Manage the setup of the marketing automation platform; create automated campaign flows, identify and operationalize lead processes, including outbound email, lead grading, and scoring.
  • Communicate the importance of tools, resources, and processes needed to drive change and improve customer experience.
  • Manage external data sources, related vendors, and budget for audience generation and campaign automation.
  • Generate stories with data by gathering insights around variations, trends, and patterns to inform next steps.
  • Develop dashboards for self-serve information to improve decision-making for the marketing team and organization.
  • Identify operational Martech stack needs and collaborate with IT on requirements and ROI justification for new platforms.
  • Perform testing and validation of new functions and system capabilities related to marketing activities.
  • Stay up-to-date with digital marketing best practices and emerging trends.

Requirements

  • BA/BS or equivalent working experience required; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in data management and marketing automation platforms.
  • Experience leading, motivating, and developing teams in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Deep experience configuring and executing marketing activities in marketing automation platforms, specifically Salesforce Marketing Cloud and SAP.
  • Analytical mindset to extract meaning from data and optimize team approaches.
  • Innovative and proactive in improving processes, efficiency, and customer experience with technology.
  • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience presenting to senior management.
  • Experience managing budget and resource allocation for success and efficiency.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve business problems and manage competing priorities on complex projects.
