About the position

Cerro Wire LLC is seeking a Sr. Manager of Talent & Learning to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in providing leadership and guidance around talent acquisition, talent management, and talent development within the organization. The successful candidate will ensure that the organization has 'ready-now' talent to meet business needs while promoting an inclusive, equitable, and diverse environment. This position will manage the talent acquisition and learning agenda, which includes the development, deployment, and execution of various programs. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to work tactically on the details of various programs while also strategically leading efforts to build and develop programs and structures that align with the company's growth objectives. In this role, the Sr. Manager will act as a liaison between Cerro Wire and the broader Marmon company, collaborating on talent management initiatives and improvement opportunities. The position requires a strong focus on designing learning modalities to scale learning across a rapidly growing organization. The Sr. Manager will help drive world-class processes in all areas of human capital, ensuring that the organization is the preferred employer and creating an employee experience that enables the success of both individuals and the organization as a whole. The responsibilities include managing the performance feedback process, employee engagement initiatives, and building development programs for early career professionals and front-line leaders. The Sr. Manager will also lead the Talent Acquisition function, ensuring a robust recruiting process and a positive candidate experience. This role is essential in evaluating and analyzing data related to Talent Acquisition goals and Key Performance Indicators, as well as strengthening the Employee Value Proposition to position the company as an employer of choice.

Responsibilities

  • Drive world-class processes in all areas of human capital to create an employee experience that enables success.
  • Ensure a 'ready-now' talent approach to meet business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the VP of Human Resources on a strategic talent review process.
  • Manage assessment and development tools to improve performance.
  • Oversee the company's performance feedback process for timely and clear feedback.
  • Manage Employee Engagement initiatives and surveys.
  • Build and manage development programs for early career and front-line leaders.
  • Lead the Talent Acquisition function for a robust recruiting process.
  • Utilize continuous improvement for an excellent candidate experience.
  • Evaluate and analyze data related to Talent Acquisition goals and KPIs.
  • Proactively source and qualify candidates through various methods.
  • Strengthen the Employee Value Proposition to position the company as an employer of choice.
  • Ensure a solid college and early-career recruiting process.
  • Serve as a resource for HR and hiring managers on effective recruiting strategies.
  • Manage internal and external talent acquisition teams and partners.
  • Ensure robust training programs align with business strategy.
  • Identify training needs through stakeholder consultations and assessments.
  • Develop and coordinate learning with subject matter experts and third-party providers.
  • Collaborate with leaders to share best practices and move the organization forward.
  • Implement strong onboarding and training programs for team members.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate guidelines.
  • Drive the adoption of a learning management system for training records and online learning.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in talent acquisition, management, and development.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive change.
  • Experience in designing and implementing learning programs across various modalities.
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics to inform talent strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing employee engagement initiatives and performance feedback processes.
  • Knowledge of compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding employment.

Nice-to-haves
