About the position

The Senior Manager, Paid Media is a pivotal role within the Nearshore Growth Marketing Team, focusing on both expertise in paid media channels and the establishment of a nearshore practice. This hybrid position requires the individual to manage client paid media budgets while also building and training a nearshore team to enhance performance and utilization. The role combines strategic account management with team leadership, ensuring effective collaboration and optimization of paid media efforts across various platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain an advanced understanding of primary paid media channels and their role in the marketing funnel.
  • Drive account strategy to achieve or exceed client efficiency and growth goals.
  • Develop and execute account management monitoring and optimization techniques to drive performance toward client targets and budgets.
  • Quantify and prioritize initiatives that will have the greatest impact on account performance.
  • Manage the performance of designated client portfolios to meet client performance goals and practice good stewardship of client budgets.
  • Ensure all account management efforts go through a QA process and are executed error-free.
  • Build out a nearshore practice by directly managing junior team members and training them in paid search and social.
  • Develop training materials and workflows to streamline collaboration between nearshore employees and US teams.
  • Maximize utilization of the nearshore team.

Requirements

  • Advanced understanding of paid search and paid social strategy and tactics.
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in paid media advertising.
  • A minimum of 2 years of management experience, mentoring, and training junior team members.
  • Proficiency in utilizing pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions in Excel and/or Google Sheets for reporting and data analysis.
  • Proven experience presenting findings and making recommendations for account optimizations to stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with additional digital marketing channels beyond paid media.
