About the position

The Sr. Manager Pre-Sales Enablement for the US Public Sector is responsible for developing and executing a sales enablement strategy that aligns with the sales team's objectives. This role involves leading the design and delivery of training programs, analyzing sales performance, and collaborating with sales leaders to assess training needs. The position may also involve managing a team of sales enablement professionals and implementing technology solutions to enhance sales processes.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and execution of the sales enablement strategy, ensuring alignment with the sales team's objectives.
  • Lead the design and delivery of sales training programs, focusing on content creation and development.
  • Collaborate with sales leaders to assess training needs and determine priorities.
  • Analyze sales performance data and metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and recommend changes.
  • May manage a team of sales enablement professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Assist in identifying and implementing sales enablement technology solutions.
  • Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of sales enablement programs.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of sales enablement initiatives to senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Typically, 8+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 3+ years in a similar role
  • Proven experience in sales and sales enablement
  • Proficiencies in sales strategy, training, and technology
  • A continuous learner who stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology

Nice-to-haves

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Sales Professional (CSP), Certified Sales Enablement Professional (CSEP), is a plus
