About the position

The Sr Manager Product Development - End to End Testing at Itron is responsible for leading the System Test End-to-End (E2E) Validation of the Distributed Intelligence Platform. This role focuses on ensuring the highest quality and performance of the solution through comprehensive testing strategies, team management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the System Test E2E Validation efforts for the Distributed Intelligence Solution.
• Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies, including system testing, continuous testing, outcomes testing, scale testing, and coexistence of outcomes testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and validation of new features and updates.
• Manage and mentor a team of test engineers, providing guidance and support to achieve testing goals.
• Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve product quality and performance.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in testing and validation.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and methodologies.
• Manage implementation of automation framework and testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience in product development and system testing, preferably in a distributed intelligence or related field.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to analyze complex systems and provide clear, actionable insights.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
