About the position

As a Sr. Manager Product on the Associate Experience team at Capital One, you will lead the product strategy aimed at enhancing the experience of over 70,000 employees. This role involves defining and delivering a product roadmap that integrates advanced technologies, including hardware, software, and ML/AI products, to empower the workforce. You will represent customer needs, ensuring measurable improvements and alignment with business outcomes, while collaborating closely with technology teams.

Responsibilities

• Define user requirements, strategy and prioritization
• Develop and communicate the product vision and strategy for key components and features
• Responsible for direct ownership of products including customer and product definition, design, monitoring, governance and alignment of key stakeholders
• Understand the needs of business stakeholders, data scientists, engineers and Capital One customers
• Prioritize the product backlog to maximize business and customer outcomes
• Incorporate design thinking and analytics to inform product design
• Enable collaboration and ensure communication between teams
• Maintain a healthy backlog of work and play a critical role in many agile ceremonies
• Support the team with escalation and resolution of impediments
• Collect and analyze data to make data driven decisions on product strategy and design
• Make hard trade-offs to achieve goals

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or military experience
• At least 5 years of product management experience or at least 5 years of experience in product design, agile delivery, business analysis, data science, or software engineering

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• MBA or Master's degree
• 5+ years of experience in Agile product management
