About the position

The Sr Manager of Product Management for Digital Commerce Platforms at Genuine Parts Company (GPC) is responsible for defining and creating innovative products that enhance the customer experience across various digital touchpoints. This role involves leading a team of product managers, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving strategic initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. The position requires a deep understanding of the digital commerce landscape, particularly in account management and post-order processes, and aims to deliver high-quality products that meet the needs of diverse user types.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with functional and technical leaders to identify and plan necessary capabilities to meet business needs.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans in support of key objectives.
  • Drive growth by providing thought leadership and translating vision into action.
  • Establish and nurture strategic vendor relationships to align with business objectives.
  • Define and communicate value propositions, success metrics, and outcomes.
  • Oversee process improvements and drive operational excellence.
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and coaching to direct reports.
  • Attract, retain, and develop top talent within the team.
  • Manage cross-functional team expectations and educate requestors on prioritization based on user experience.
  • Participate in learning activities around modern software design and development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience in Digital Commerce.
  • Significant expertise in login/registration and account management capabilities.
  • Experience leading Product Managers in a modern software development environment.
  • Proficiency in agile methodologies and modern product management practices.
  • Ability to communicate and influence at all organizational levels.
  • Experience in developing omni-channel digital product discovery.
