About the position

The Sr Manager of Product Management in Digital Commerce Experience at Genuine Parts Company (GPC) is responsible for defining and creating innovative products that enhance customer experiences across various digital touchpoints. This role involves leading a talented team to drive customer-led solutions, improve operational efficiency, and increase customer satisfaction. The Sr Manager will oversee product management strategies, guide cross-functional teams, and ensure the delivery of high-quality products that align with business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with functional and technical leaders to identify and plan necessary capabilities to meet business needs.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to support key objectives in a timely and fiscally responsible manner.
  • Drive business growth by applying domain expertise and translating vision into actionable plans.
  • Establish and nurture strategic vendor relationships to align with enterprise objectives.
  • Define and communicate value propositions, success metrics, and outcomes for product initiatives.
  • Oversee process improvements to drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and coaching to direct reports and manage strategic direction for staff.
  • Attract, retain, and develop top talent within the product management team.
  • Foster collaboration with team members across engineering, UX, and other departments to drive value.
  • Guide junior team members in strategy, alignment, analysis, and execution tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent training and experience.
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience in product management, particularly in Digital Commerce.
  • Significant expertise in login/registration and account management capabilities.
  • Mastery of modern software development practices and agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency in developing omni-channel digital product discovery across B2C, B2B, and stores.
  • Experience in conducting competitive research and analysis.
