About the position

The Sr. Manager, Product Manager Tech for Middle Mile Planning and Optimization at Amazon is responsible for leading a team that develops innovative software solutions to enhance the efficiency of the global transportation network. This role involves strategic leadership, product strategy definition, and execution, focusing on optimizing the delivery of packages through advanced technologies such as big data and machine learning.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Product Managers, Program Managers, and Business Analysts.
• End-to-end ownership of requirements gathering, documentation, planning, and implementation of cost-effective solutions for Amazon's transportation network.
• Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally across multiple teams in operations, technology, and planning to define strategic roadmaps.
• Create and implement data-driven improvements to Amazon's transportation network that deliver flexible and efficient products for customers.
• Design and implement feedback mechanisms to drive performance and cost improvement in processes.
• Conduct root-cause analysis using data to create metrics-driven, actionable, and sustainable solutions.
• Monitor key performance indicators across nodes and analyze their drivers.

Requirements

• 10+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology experience.
• 6+ years of team management experience.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
• Experience with end-to-end product delivery.
