About the position

The role involves leading productivity and supply chain development efforts for large-scale projects within the Meat & Cheese Supply Chain. The position focuses on ensuring effective collaboration with various partners, tracking project timelines and costs, troubleshooting financial issues, and delivering financial targets.

Responsibilities

  • Lead productivity efforts for large scale projects.
  • Ensure effective team engagement, including establishing and leading team meetings.
  • Review project timelines and costs regularly with the project team and facilitate the creation of mitigation/contingency plans.
  • Track and forecast all Productivity projects across the Meat & Cheese Supply Chain.
  • Troubleshoot financial and system issues to ensure appropriate tracking and forecasting of Productivity projects.
  • Lead and deliver assigned financial targets while leading resource and funding prioritization.
  • Engage and support efficiency agenda to deliver cost reduction targets.
  • Support Business and Manufacturing Systems initiatives as needed and promote continuous improvement through collaboration with key partners.
  • Lead and/or participate in various partner governance forums (i.e. Ops Stage gate/Leadership teams).
  • Lead commercialization efforts for large scale projects, platform innovation programs, or significant capital-related initiatives.
  • Develop and recommend alternatives as needed and provide updates to project sponsors and stakeholders on key initiatives.
  • Escalate concerns and issues, define options/trade-offs, and provide team recommendations.
  • Lead internal feasibility assessments and business cases to support business team's scoping requests.
  • Identify impact across the supply chain regarding cost of goods sold, capacity utilization, manufacturing efficiency, quality, and safety.
  • Partner with External Manufacturing managers and EM procurement to deliver against scoping activities outside of current capabilities.
  • Partner with Business Units, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Engineering to develop a strategic capacity plan.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Food Science, Chemistry, or other related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years combined experience in manufacturing, business development, Engineering, or HQ business team experience.
  • 1 year experience in Project Management for Consumer Products.
  • 1 year experience in Basic Supply Chain/Finance Principles.
  • Strong analytical skills and financial acumen.
  • Ability to plan and complete transformation of supply chains from a cost standpoint.
  • Proven ability to build and strengthen relationships and lead through ambiguity.
