About the position

In this role, you will lead a technical organization focused on enabling business development efforts across all Operating Companies within Entergy Services, LLC. Your primary responsibility will be to establish and maintain strong relationships with business leaders in the Operating Companies (OpCos) to understand their needs and deliver rapid business solution alternatives. You will leverage your business acumen to develop and execute engineering and marketing strategies that maximize revenue growth opportunities for the Operating Companies. You will be responsible for planning and directing technical teams to maximize growth opportunities by developing engineering solutions that positively influence large commercial and industrial load growth. This includes communicating and coordinating capital spending requirements for large customer projects with Entergy Finance, providing project management support to ensure a smooth workflow transition to multiple cross-functional workgroups, and developing prompt engineering responses and corrective action strategies to support Managed Account reliability initiatives. Additionally, you will oversee and report on Entergy's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, develop and implement marketing strategies to effectively promote Entergy's products and services, and manage the Buildings and Sites database along with GIS-based mapping initiatives. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining site development and certification programs while continuously evaluating new technology to enhance tools, products, and service offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a technical organization to enable business development efforts across all Operating Companies.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with OpCo business leaders to understand their needs.
  • Develop engineering solutions that positively influence large commercial/industrial load growth.
  • Communicate and coordinate capital spending requirements for large commercial/industrial customer projects with Entergy Finance.
  • Provide project management support on large commercial/industrial customer projects to ensure predictable workflow transition to multiple cross-functional workgroups.
  • Develop prompt engineering responses and corrective action strategies to support Managed Account reliability initiatives.
  • Provide oversight and reporting over Entergy's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies that effectively promote Entergy's products and services.
  • Provide program management for the Buildings and Sites database and GIS-based mapping initiatives.
  • Create and maintain site development programs and site certification programs.
  • Continuously evaluate new technology and leverage it to advance tools, products, and service offerings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • 12+ years experience in energy/utility Engineering or Project Management.
  • 5+ years experience in a customer-facing role.
  • 5+ years experience in leadership roles.
  • 1+ years experience in marketing concepts/application preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and analytical skills.
  • Experienced in project management roles.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • In-depth understanding of utility regulation and RFPs.
  • Project Management Professional certification desired.

Nice-to-haves

  • MBA preferred.
