About the position

The Sr. Manager, Real Estate Portfolio Management at Snap Inc. is responsible for overseeing the company's global real estate strategy and managing the internal portfolio management team. This role involves leading site selection, developing leasing strategies, and ensuring operational excellence in workplace planning. The position requires collaboration with various internal teams and external partners to align real estate activities with Snap's broader business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage internal Snap portfolio management team, including in-house transaction managers and third-party brokerage services team.
  • Lead Snap's global real estate strategy in coordination with the internal occupancy planning team.
  • Lead new site selection and global real estate strategy.
  • Develop a thoughtful real estate leasing strategy that balances short-term and long-term business needs.
  • Create a comprehensive workplace, lease, and space planning strategy based on business needs.
  • Manage critical dates reports and collaborate with accounting, finance, and legal teams.
  • Meet regularly with business partners to understand real estate needs by team and location.
  • Develop and communicate clear business cases for real estate projects.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to report on financial performance and validate vendor costs.
  • Draft and create various analyses and relevant documents for real estate transactions.
  • Manage relationships with landlords and resolve disputes.
  • Work closely with internal partners on site selection due diligence.
  • Draft and present Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) outlining progress and strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, facility/property management, Real Estate or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years running distributed real estate portfolios, including corporate campus or relevant field.
  • 10+ years experience leading and/or growing a team.
