About the position

This managerial position oversees a combined Factory and Regional Distribution Center, focusing on the integration within the Regional Distribution Network. The role is responsible for ensuring the performance of distribution operations, emphasizing safety, operational plans, budget adherence, and accuracy in shipping and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Champion safety for the facility, ensuring timely training completion and adherence to safety and OSHA policies.
• Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
• Increase warehouse productivity through Continuous Improvement methodology and standardization.
• Train, develop, and mentor direct reports.
• Lead development of the entire team.
• Manage inventory to maintain accurate records and ensure maximum customer service.
• Ensure maintenance of all machinery and equipment.
• Oversee daily shipping routes and control all documentation associated with the routing process.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Previous direct management experience in a large, multi-shift, high-volume, fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Excellent knowledge of regional distribution center best practices, policies, procedures, and terms of trade.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to build successful teams.
• Familiarity with Lean distribution methodologies.
• Experiential knowledge of fiscal control, budget forecasting, and distribution operations metrics.
• Excellent decision-making and creative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to perform steadily under pressure.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of SAP and familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems.
